Cause: “Different from original file format”

Solution 1: Change to the original extension

Revert to the original image file extension.

  1. Right-click the PNG file → [Rename]
  2. Change from .png to .webp.

Solution 2: Save as with Paint

  1. Right-click the PNG file, [Open]

  2. Right click on the image and copy it.

  2. Photoshop. [File] → [Save As].

It’s OK because it’s now saved as a PNG file.

What failed

Failure 1: Change to another extension

1. Change the PNG file extension from PNG to JPG in Explorer (or Finder).

  1. Is it okay to change the extension from “.png” to “.jpg”? Select [Use “.jpg”].
