Formats and analysis / removal limits
Reading verified with synthetic Local files: JPEG, PNG, WebP, GIF, TIFF, HEIC, AVIF, MP3, WAV, FLAC, M4A, AAC, OGG, Opus, AIFF, MP4, MOV, MKV, WebM, AVI, PDF, DOCX, XLSX, PPTX. This does not guarantee all format variants.
Removal is limited to JPEG and PNG. Remove all retains image orientation and ICC profiles. Documents, audio and video are read-only. PDF revisions, hidden information and embedded video GPS tracks cannot be certified absent.
Assessment covers known tags. No detection is not a safety guarantee. Music Artist / Comment tags are excluded from personal-data assessment, matching the Python policy. OS creation dates and absolute paths are unavailable.
